The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Friday's Best NCAAB Bet

Columbia Lions at Harvard Crimson (-10.5)

The Crimson has never been better at home - literally. Harvard is 8-0 at home this season and owns a program-record tying 11-game win streak at Lavietes Pavilion. But the Crimson have been a tough opponent no matter who they play and where.

The team owns road wins over Boston College and George Washington and also holds victories against Colorado and America East preseason favorite Boston University. Overall, Harvard has won six straight and is 6-3 ATS this season.

And the team has a new weapon – its zone defense. Harvard is ranked in the Top-75 nationally in points allowed, giving up just 62.8 per game, but recent injury and foul troubles have forced coach Tommy Amaker to mix in a zone. In wins over George Washington and Dartmouth, it has paved the way for second-half comebacks.

“We switched defenses and that changed the rhythm a little,’’ Amaker said. “We got some confidence as we got some stops and got up the floor and inched our way back in it. It’s the same zone but I thought we did a better job of communicating and getting matched. We don’t use it a lot but we certainly needed it.’’

Harvard is 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in the teams’ past four meetings.

Pick: Harvard

PICK 'N' ROLL

Friday's Best NBA Bet

Detroit Pistons at Miami Heat (-10.5, 190.5)

Don’t buy the Pistons hype in South Beach. Detroit is 5-3 SU in its past eight games and is 26-20 ATS overall this year, the fifth-most wins against the spread in the league this season. But, oddsmakers caught on following a seven-point win in Orlando, making the team a mere 1.5-point favorite in a 109-100 home loss to Denver Wednesday.

The Pistons also have several big lineup issues. All-Star guard Richard Hamilton, who hasn’t played the past eight games while Detroit has improved its play, is pouting about the team’s treatment of him and creating a rift in the locker room.

Starting point guard Rodney Stuckey also is questionable for this game as he banged shoulders with Carmelo Anthony in the first quarter of the loss to Denver and was sidelined the rest of the night.

"He caught me at a good angle and I got hit," Stuckey, who also noted that he felt his shoulder pop, said. "I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow. I'll make the trip and we'll see how it feels.”

Rookie center Greg Monroe also has been on a huge tear lately, scoring in double figures in seven of the past 10 games and grabbing at least seven rebounds in eight of those contests. However, in an earlier game this year against Miami, Monroe had 15 points, eight rebounds and a pair of assists and the Heat still easily covered a 14-point spread in a 97-72 win in South Beach.

Pick: Miami

In the case of Redd and Trushel at least, they have also had some truly horrible losing streaks of late, and I wouldn't make too much out of a short term winning streak-imo neither one of these guys is anything special over the longer term.
More power to anyone who can jump on and off these two folks at the right time and for that matter any capper, most of whom will lose you money over the long haul.
ps thanks for posting though-at least it gives one the opportunity to decide if they want to go with any of these guys in the SHORT TERM anyways.

NBA NEWS AND NOTES
Magic, Bulls Highlight Friday NBA Betting Card
By: Adam Markowitz

Orlando Magic at Chicago Bulls (-1, 187.5)

The Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic both have aspirations of representing the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals this year, and both know that they are probably going to have to go through the other to get the job done.

The two will look to fire a huge shot at the other on Friday night at Chicago's United Center in NBA betting action. Tip-off from the Windy City is set for 5 p.m. (PT), and the game can be seen live on Sun Sports and Cox Sports Chicago.

If you take out that questionable 103-96 loss at home against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night, the Magic have really played tremendous basketball over the course of the last month or so. They're 14-4 SU, and three of those losses have come by three points or fewer. They're also 12-5-1 against the NBA odds in that stretch to boot.

The offense has been on absolute fire for head coach Stan Van Gundy, as he knows that all of these roster changes really have made the team a lot better and lot more likely to be able to get back to the NBA Finals. The 'O' has dropped at least 111 on three of its last four foes, and dating back to December 23, the Magic are averaging a whopping 107.3 PPG while allowing just 96.8 PPG.

Eight different players scored at least eight points in the win against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, headed up by Dwight Howard who scored 19 and dragged down 16 boards. The big man in the middle is the key for Orlando, as he is leading the team in a ton of categories, including scoring (22.0 PPG), rebounding (13.4 RPG), field goal percentage (56.9%), steals (1.2 SPG) and blocks (2.2 BPG).

For the Bulls though, this is a game that is all about respect. Though they have an amazing 31-14 mark this year, man think that this is a product of the fact that the Central Division is absolutely atrocious. Though it might be true that this is the worst division in basketball (the Pacific Division will give the Central a run for its money), it isn't just the teams in this division that the Bulls are playing well against.

There isn't a team that has scored triple digits against head coach Tom Thibodeau's squad since January 7, and only three teams have gotten there since December 6. Over the course of their last 10 games, the Bulls have held foes to an average of just 84.5 PPG, and they are 8-2 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in that run.

Derrick Rose is fighting the flu, but he is definitely expected to be in the starting five by the time this one tips off on Friday. The former Memphis Tiger is a legitimate MVP candidate this year, as he is averaging 24.6 PPG and 8.1 APG.

Though Joakim Noah is still out of the lineup with a thumb injury and will be for at least a couple of weeks, Carlos Boozer came back last week and now has two games under his belt since recovering from his ankle injury. He has been averaging 17.5 PPG and 9.5 RPG in that stretch, but he is at 19.9 PPG and 10.0 RPG for the duration of the season.

The Magic have done a great job of making the Bulls disappear in recent tussles, going 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS over the course of the last 10 encounters. Orlando won the first meeting on the year 107-78 here at the United Center as short two point underdogs on the NBA betting lines, and it will hope for a similar outcome again on Friday night.

Last Meeting Against The Lions
Harvard outscored Columbia, 45-26, in the first half and held on for a 77-57 victory in Lavietes Pavilion Feb. 20, 2010. Oliver McNally scored a career-high 23 points, making 8-of-10 shots from the field, including 5-of-7 from long distance. Kyle Casey converted all six free-throw attempts and finished with 10 points, while Jeremy Lin '10 (11 points) and Dee Giger (10 points) also reached double figures.

Last Time Out
After trailing 40-28 with 15:36 to play, Harvard went on a 23-2 run and outscored Dartmouth, 31-10, down the stretch to earn a 59-50 Ivy League victory last weekend. Four Crimson players scored in double figures: Laurent Rivard (13), Keith Wright (12), Brandyn Curry (12) and Oliver McNally (12). McNally converted 9-of-10 free throws, including all eight in the second half, as Harvard improved to 2-0 in conference play for the second straight year.

Columbia's Last Time Out
The Lions extended their n streak to four games with a 70-66 victory at Cornell Jan. 22. Brian Barbour connected on 7-of-13 shots from the field and was 8-of-9 from the foul line to lead the Lions with 23 points. Meiko Lyles added 10 points in only 16 minutes, while Mark Cisco led Columbia with seven rebounds. The Lions blocked four shots and outrebounded Cornell by a 38-32 margin.

Lavietes Is The Place To Be
Last season's win over the Lions started Harvard's current 11-game win streak at home, tying a modern program record. The Crimson stands at 8-0 at Lavietes Pavilion this season, making Harvard one of 32 teams in the nation to have a perfect home record entering the weekend.

Casting Ballots
For the third straight season and fourth time in six years, Harvard received a vote in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll this week. Harvard is the only Ivy League team to have received a vote in a major national poll this season and currently sits 50th in the NCAA's RPI entering this weekend's action.

Coaches Vs. Cancer
During this weekend's contests against Columbia and Cornell, the Harvard coaching staff will wear sneakers with their suits as part of the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign. This charity was founded by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Starting Strong in Ivy Play
For the second straight season, Harvard swept Dartmouth to open conference play and sits at 2-0 in Ivy League action. Harvard started 3-0 in league play last season. The Crimson has twice started 5-0 (1980-81 and 1990-91) in Ivy League contests.

Comeback Kids
In its last two wins, Harvard has overcome a nine-point deficit at George Washington and a 12-point deficit to Dartmouth, winning both games. The Crimson trailed the Colonials, 35-26, with 19:36 remaining, but outscored GW, 41-27, the rest of the way to win 67-62. On Saturday against the Big Green, Dartmouth led, 40-28, with 15:36 to play, but the Crimson went on a 23-2 run and claimed a 59-50 victory. Harvard is now 4-2 when trailing at halftime.

Warming Up In January
Harvard entered the weekend with a 4-0 record in January with wins at Boston College, Dartmouth and George Washington and a home victory over Dartmouth. Harvard was 5-2 in December and 4-1 in November. The Crimson had won six straight games heading into Friday, a season-high.

He's Honored For The Third Time
For the third time this season, Laurent Rivard was tabbed the Ivy League Rookie of the Week Jan. 17. Rivard scored all 16 of his points in the second half in Harvard's 67-62 victory at George Washington Jan. 15. Rivard made 4-of-6 shots from the field, including 3-of-4 from long range, helping the Crimson come back from nine-point deficit in the second half.

RPI Watch
Harvard appears 50th in the most recent NCAA RPI, released Monday. The Crimson has the highest RPI in the Ivy League, 10 spots ahead of conference rival Princeton (60).

Scoring In Bunches
Harvard is 4-0 this season when scoring 80 or more points, topping Colorado, 82-66, Nov. 28, Fordham, 80-57, Dec. 1, Boston University, 87-71, Dec. 11 and MIT, 84-58, Dec. 31.

Undefeated When...
The Crimson is undefeated this season at home (8-0), scoring 70 or more points (8-0), surrendering less than 60 points (6-0), shooting better than 35% from 3 (8-0), shooting under 75% from the foul line (4-0), in games decided by 4-10 points (5-0) and in January (4-0).

Amaker vs. The Ivy League
Harvard head coach Tommy Amaker enters the weekend with a 21-23 record against Ivy League opponents. Harvard is 12-4 against Ancient Eight foes since the start of the 2009-10 campaign.

Making The Most Of It
The Crimson stands second in the nation as a team with an 80.6 percent success rate from the charity stripe (just behind Wisconsin's 81.9 shooting percentage). Harvard, which owns the NCAA record for team free-throw percentage for a season (82.2 percent in 1983-84), made 23-of-24 (.958) of its attempts from the foul line in its win at Boston College Jan. 5. Harvard made a season-best 28 free throws in wins over WPI Dec. 7 and Monmouth Dec. 29.

Oliver McNally (59-of-63) is tied for fifth in the country at 93.7 percent from the foul line, while Laurent Rivard is tied for seventh sixth (42-of-45, .933). Chris Warren of Mississippi leads the nation with a 94.8 percent clip.

BETTORS' TIPS AND NOTES
Bettors' Best Friend (BBF): Friday's Wagering Tips
By Covers Staff

Line To Watch

Minnesota Timberwolves at Utah Jazz (-8.5)

With Jazz point guard Deron Williams questionable with a wrist injury, sharp money has already come in on the T-Wolves moving the number from its original post of -9. Keep an eye on Williams' status as the 9 p.m. ET tipoff draws closer.

Who’s Hot?

Fairfield Stags – They’ve won three straight games and are 9-1 SU in their last 10 outings, posting a 5-2 ATS mark in their last seven lined games. The Stags host the Manhattan Jaspers as 20.5-point home favorites Friday.

Who’s Not?

Cleveland Cavaliers – The Cavs have lost 18 straight games, managing a 4-14 ATS record during this skid. Cleveland, however, is getting a pile of points in recent games and is 2-1 ATS in its last three outings. The Cavs host the Denver Nuggets as 10-point underdogs Friday.

Injury Not To Be Overlooked

Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls – The Bulls All-Star point guard is dealing with stomach ulcers and has not eaten much since being diagnosed Thursday. Rose is taking medication for the ailment but isn’t sure about his status for Friday’s tilt with the Orlando Magic. Books have set Chicago as a pick at home.

Game Of The Day

Orlando Magic at Chicago Bulls (pick, 187.5)

Notable Quotable

"I think they're taking it day by day, as far as his injury. I don't think it has been confirmed that he's not playing yet. Right now he's just rehabbing." - Steelers LG Chris Kemoeatu on the flip-flopping status of linemate C Maurkice Pouncey, who injured his ankle in the AFC Championship Game last Sunday.

Tips And Notes

- Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has reduced his practice load this week, missing Thursday practice heading into Friday’s game with the Sacramento Kings (+13). Bryant, who led all NBA All-Star vote getters, has been slowed by a nagging knee injury all season. He’s averaging just under 25 points per game, leading L.A. to a 3-2 record in its last five games, going 3-2 ATS.

- The return of Tiger Woods at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines is overshadowing a solid opening round for John Daly, who finished with a 67 Thursday to sit 5-under par – three shots back of leader Sunghoon Kang (64). Daly, who briefly quit golf after two rough rounds at Torrey Pines last year, won this event in 2004 and heads into the second round priced at +4,000 to win the tournament.

- Memphis Grizzlies guard O.J. Mayo is suspended for 10 games for violating the NBA’s anti-drug program. He failed a drug test, testing positive for dehydroepiandrosterone – a banned steroid better known as DHEA. Mayo, who scores over 12 points off the bench for the Grizzlies, will start his suspension Friday when Memphis visits the Philadelphia 76ers as 3-point underdogs.
